our department in alyarmook was a COMPLETE DISASTER! very old books they teach us and i think we all know that journalism is really moving fast ..wallah i used to study a book from 1966!! only 2 of our teachers were profs! most of them were holding a high diploma!!!!!! and some of them a master degree! wasta and girls are the keywords there! no its even worse! teachers used to take part and push students abt the election issues! and i have a thousands of stories abt whats happening there! and thats why i left and thats why he stayed!

Well, From my experience of Al-Yarmouk university, as I've graduated from it, It's really not that bad, yes I agree with you that the instructors used to affect on students concerning elections, and political issues (I almost failed in a course for that), but we always managed to get away with it.
I don't know about the Journalism Department, as I didn’t take any course there, but I don't think that it's much different from other departments in the university.
And by the way I knew a lot of people who used to blame there instructors for there failures where the issue was that they don't deserve to pass a course, and most of them always had this 2 words (Feda al qadyeh) as they were doing anything concerning (al qadyeh).
Also it's not much different in other universities, unless you get lucky with a good instructor.
i know that some of them really bkoono as feda ilqadeye :D but i was there with a high average 79!and i quit the uni!.. and i know this guy, most of my friends graduated from there and they didnt felt it was that bad...as u were a studet there u know (ta7et)iladab! u have to ask how things going there:)and i suffered again in jordan uni! but there its horrible :) thanx anyway :)what was ur department? ildnay s'3eere :) mayb i know ppl u know :)
I've graduated from the computer science department; I didn't know anybody from the journalism department (except one whom I disliked).
